TXT MSG-ing

Our newest system that allows visitors on your lot to send a text message on their cell phone to get the pricing of a vehicle. A text message is then sent back to the visitor with the price, and the dealership gets an e-mail with the visitors cell phone number to follow up. Then the customer can return home, logon to the dealer website and see a list of all the vehicles they had requested more information about.
Great tool for after hours!

RSS Feeds

We've now added RSS Feeds visitors can subscribe to for the latest service specials as well as any new arrivals. Many users have RSS feeds of the latest in news stories, and now can easily add your content to their Google Page, Outlook, or any other news reader.

Video E-Mail

Video E-Mail is now available. Record your message and add cue points to guide a customer through multiple vehicles. A simple e-mail link is returned for you to place into your e-mail, thus working with all CRM systems. Once the customer views your Video mail, you will receive notification that the message was viewed, when it was viewed, and how many times it was watched. Stand out from your competition by providing a personalized, video message showing your customers a real person will be working with them.

To Flash or Not To Flash

Yes, Flash is spectacular. We use it for components and Rich Internet Applications.

But we don't recommend it for a consumer e-commerce site.

Why? Flash poses too many limitations on the customer experience and effectiveness of the site when a customer is searching for a product. A great example is trying to print the page using the browser's print button like many customers are used to doing.

The other major downfall is that Flash rasterizes much of the "flashy" text causing it to be unreadable by search engine spiders. And generally this text is major information, such as your company name, that you want them to be able to read. So now your organic placement in search engines is jeopardized.

Think of the top e-commerce sites with inventory to sell. Amazon.com, EBay.com, Frys.com, Sears.com, HomeDepot.com, Walmart.com, and so on. They utilize flash for certain components, but not for their entire site. And not because it's too expensive or not possible, but because it's just not as effective.
